The firm of George Fincham, established in Melbourne in the mid-nineteenth century, has produced more organs than any other firm in the country. The style of these organs has changed in accordance with the fashion of each period and it is only in recent times that the organ community has begun to realise that more attention needs to be paid to the preservation of instruments from the first half of the 29th century; just how many pneumatic Finchams will survive is yet to be quantified - it is regrettably not likely to be large.



This organ, built 1914-15, and renovated c. 1969 by S.T. Noad & Son, has remained unaltered with the following stoplist:
