Wesley Methodist Church was built in 1890 and it, and the manse next door built in 1903, are fine examples of late-Victorian style. The church is built of local granite with elaborate brick window surrounds. The interior features a rear gallery, spectacular wooden ceiling, raked floor and the original pews, complete with porcelain pew numbers.

Also built of local granite, the manse features elegant ornamentation and turned verandah posts. It was a gift to the church by church member and local merchant John Robinson and his wife.

The first organ was built in 1890 by Alfred Kirkland and installed at Wesley Church in 1894. Removed in 1966, it is now at the Lockyer Uniting Church.
