Although not all historic, the most important organs found in our Cathedrals, main City Churches, Town Halls, Concert Halls, Universities and Conservatoria have also been included.

1875 Hill & Son Organ Restoration Appeal

When installed in the Adelaide Town Hall in 1877, the William Hill & Son Grand Organ was the largest pipe organ in the colony. The instrument is the oldest surviving concert organ on the Australian mainland and also the only Hill & Son organ in South Australia.

The Christopher Dearnley Award

The Christopher Dearnley Award is awarded for new recordings or the re-release of archival recordings made on Australian pipe organs, or Australian recordings involving a significant local pipe organ component.
